Sticky notes contains (on average) fifty sheets of small pieces of paper. All combined into one block. This block is connected via a low track pressure glue adhesive which allows each page to be easily removed and re stuck anywhere else.

Why would I use sticky notes as an advertisement tool?

By using branded sticky notes you are giving your customers an opportunity to see your brand whenever they go to write an important note. How were Sticky Notes Invented?

Interestingly, sticky notes were not meant to be invented. It was back in 1968 when Dr Spencer Silver, a chemist, created an adhesive that could stick to things and be re-positioned numerous times. The problem he had is that he created it too weak. Which for an adhesive is not ideal. After this point Dr Silver gave up and returned to his church choir. It was then as his bookmark kept falling out of place that he thought of his adhesive. He then tried it and it worked great! The bookmark stayed in place and he could move it around easily too! From then on sticky notes have continued to be an essential item for everyone.

What good are they in my office?

How do I know what print method to use?

Throughout our whole range of sticky notes we can offer you a variety of direct print methods to suit your branding best. If you are unsure what method to use and would like some additional information on choosing the right one please contact us and one of our team members will be happy to help you. For those with a basic logo with one, two, three or four colours spot printing is the method you want to use. For example our logo of a white R in a unique blue circle would be printed in a spot colour. This is due to us having a basic design with the exact colour we use. A good way to remember this is by thinking ‘spot’ on, this is because ‘spot’ colour printing replicates the same colour of your original logo. On the other hand if your logo design is more developed with multiple colours and advanced designs, full colour print would be recommended for you. For example, the BP garage logo - If you’re unaware, their logo is an extremely detailed flower with shades of a green, a lighter green, yellow and white. The BP garage are likely to use the UV digital full colour method to print their logo onto all of their merchandise. The reason behind this is because they have a design that involves multiple colours and different textures which for a logo like theirs is more efficient.
